Bombay Adda Bengaluru

This latest property is causing quite a buzz in the Bangalore party world. People are raving about the place and they have plenty of good reasons to do so.

What’s so great about Bombay Adda?

I recently visited Bombay Adda with my college friends and boy did we have a blast! We went on a Thursday night, which is when they host Ladies & Models Night, where girls get two free drinks on the house (I recommend their Long Island Ice Tea). The place was surprisingly crowded for a Thursday night and the DJ played a mix of commercial and Bollywood music.

We talked and danced, wined and dined. We were all quite hesitant to leave even at 1:30 a.m. despite having work the next day.

Here’s a quick look at all the Bombay Adda plus points:

Location:

Located in 7th Block, Koramangala, quite close to Sapna Book House. It is easy to locate, and their huge signboard is hard to miss. Koramangala is one of the more active places of Bangalore, with a wide range of eateries, breweries, and restaurants to its name. Despite popping up in a heavily crowded market, Bombay Adda holds its own among other prominent hotspots like Gilly’s Redefined, Happy Brew, What’s In a Name and Boho.

Ambiance:

Bombay Adda is one of those places that manages to be elegant and happening at the same time. They have a huge light fixture that catches your attention the second you walk in. That being said, it gives great lighting for taking those mandatory bomb night-out pictures for your Instagram account. They have an indoor seating area, an upstairs seating area, an outside patio are and a medium sized dance floor. There’s a certain inexplicable buzz that you feel at Bombay Adda that gets you in the mood to have a good time.

Food and Drinks:

Well, we had quite a few items, as we were a group of 6 girls hanging out after a long day at work, total Sex and the City style. Here’s what we had:

  • Margherita Classic Prep
  • Peperonni Pizza
  • Chicken Lasagna
  • Baked Mac & Cheese Chicekn
  • Home Made Jalapeno Poppers (Starter)
  • Country Fried Chicken (Starter)
  • Peri Peri Dust French Fries (Starter)
  • Long Island Ice Tea
Chicken Lasagna, Bombay Adda

Their food was on point. Amazing flavours, great presentation and easy on the stomache. The last one is a must, and anyone who is from outside Bangalore, will agree with me on that one. The Jalapeno Poppers requires a special mention as they were extremely cheesy, just how I like it. Hats off to the chef for their thin crust, cheesy and delicious pizzas, that were just the right amount of filling, and complemented the drinks perfectly.

*If there was one thing I was not happy about, it would have to be the lack of availability of waiters in the outside patio area. We had to go and find the waiters when we needed them, this could easily have been because there were a lot of people there. Remember this is ONLY one teeny tiny flaw I could find, which shouldn’t really stop you from visiting Bombay Adda, Bangalore.

Why would I recommend Bombay Adda, Bangalore:

It’s a great place to hang out with your friends. The music, vibe and eatables are quite pleasing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a chill night out. Grab your friends and head to the coolest adda in Bangalore when you can.
